About the Role – Co-op Software Engineer (Fullstack)
Dialpad’s Co-op Software Engineer Program is designed for students and recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in software engineering. This full-time hybrid role is based in Bangalore, India, starting January 2026.
As a Co-op Software Engineer, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, gain mentorship, and contribute to real projects shaping the future of AI-powered communication platforms.
Key Responsibilities
As a Co-op Software Engineer (Fullstack), you will:
- Develop scalable, robust, high-volume web applications.
- Build dynamic web user interfaces using Vue and other JavaScript libraries.
- Work with real-time communication technologies such as WebRTC and WebSockets.
- Launch new code weekly with fast release cycles.
- Enhance features to support rapid user growth.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers with minimal meetings for maximum coding time.
Eligibility & Skills Required
Educational Qualification:
- Currently enrolled (3rd year or above) or recently graduated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Technical Skills:
- Strong in JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and writing clean, reusable code.
- Prior experience building dynamic/single-page applications using JavaScript.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with Vue.js or Backbone.js.
- Experience with public cloud environments (GCP, AWS, etc.).
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
Availability:
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) from Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM.
