About the Role

As part of the Optical Networks division, you’ll be working at the intersection of AI-driven data center technologies and large-scale connectivity solutions. Following the recent acquisition of Infinera, we’ve merged innovation with scale to redefine the future of optical networking.


What You Will Do

  • New Product Introduction: Work closely with architecture and ASIC teams to develop SDKs for next-gen ASICs.
  • Design and implement SDK APIs and algorithms.
  • Define and execute SDK test plans and assist in software integrations.
  • Maintain detailed design documentation while collaborating with ASIC and Optical architecture teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in software development, ideally in the communications industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Must-have:
    • Proficiency in C/C++ coding and debugging.
  • Good to have:
    • Experience with ASIC SDK development.
    • Exposure to GIGE, OTN, DSP.
    • Knowledge of Linux or RTOS environments.
    • Experience in Embedded Systems, Device Driver Development, and Protocol Software Design.
