• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with multiple Cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in integrating multiple platforms and applications for smooth workflow and data management.

About the Role

As an Application Engineer in Google’s Supply Chain Systems team, you will be responsible for end-to-end application lifecycle management, including:

• Web development
• Requirements gathering
• Software development and testing
• Documentation and training
• Implementation and deployment
• Ongoing support and system maintenance

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of Googlers, leveraging UI and functional specifications as input. You will have the autonomy to act as an owner, take initiative, and innovate to meet both user and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development & Deployment:
  • Design, develop, and deploy applications that align with business goals and deliver measurable impact.
  • Integrate third-party products into internal systems.
  • Support and upgrade implemented systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Process Improvement:
  • Partner with internal teams to define, design, and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
  • Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solution Building:
  • Build internal tools and solutions with custom front-end interfaces (web and mobile) and robust back-end services to automate processes.
• Development Practices:
  • Maintain best practices in technical design, systems configuration, testing, issue resolution, and code quality.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that meets Google’s engineering standards.
  • Create technical documentation and test plans to support implementation and troubleshooting.
