About the Role
Diebold Nixdorf’s ACDE team is seeking a Software Engineer to work within the Infrastructure & Operations team, focusing on addressing field issues, investigating operational and code anomalies, and enhancing the ACDE Azure Cloud solution. The solution leverages data analytics to reduce service call rates and improve operational intelligence.
You will work in a distributed team (India & US), primarily in a remote setup, with opportunities to work from Hyderabad offices if preferred. The work involves defect resolution, minor feature implementation, and system enhancements across Azure-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain familiarity with software engineering principles, tools, and practices.
- Perform standard development tasks:
- Code basic components following company protocols and guidelines.
- Write unit tests for common code paths.
- Prepare technical documentation for changes and implementations.
- Support defect fixes and minor feature additions in Azure cloud-based systems.
- Work with Azure resources, containerization, databases (NoSQL, relational, non-relational), messaging queues, event hubs, and Splunk.
- Utilize .NET Core and Microsoft technologies.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
- Investigate production issues and support deployments.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps for sprint-based tasks.
