This role is based in our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of clients worldwide. These centers provide locally based skills and technical expertise, driving innovation and adoption of new technology.
Role: Associate System Engineer (Software Developer)
As an Associate System Engineer, you will be involved in multiple aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. You will create and deliver high-performing, reliable, and maintainable applications that help clients on their hybrid-cloud and AI journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Analyze, validate, and propose improvements for existing system failures with guidance from architects and technical leads.
- End-to-End Development: Participate in design, development, testing, release, and troubleshooting activities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for innovative coding solutions.
- High-Performance Delivery: Ensure that the applications delivered are highly available, responsive, and maintainable.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: BE / BTech (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related CS branches such as CSE, AIML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, CSBS, IoT, Robotics, AI, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc.)
- CGPA/Percentage: Minimum 6.0 CGPA or 60% aggregate.
- Year of Pass Out: 2026 (Final Year students eligible).
- Backlogs: No active backlogs at the time of joining.
- Skills Required:
- Programming knowledge (preferably in Java, C++, Python, or Node.js).
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Fluent communication skills (written and verbal).

- Strong engineering and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Flexible to work from anywhere in India.
