Key Responsibilities

  • Write, test, and debug clean and efficient Java code for new features and enhancements under supervision.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving software defects and issues.
  • Participate in unit testing and support integration testing.
  • Actively learn new technologies, tools, and best practices from senior developers.
  • Collaborate with team members including developers, QA, and product owners.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Learn from and contribute to code reviews.
  • Provide support for existing applications as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years in Java development OR strong academic project experience.
  • Foundational understanding of Java, OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to learn.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with AI-powered code generation tools (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude, etc.).
  • Exposure to Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
  • Knowledge of JUnit or unit testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Docker.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
