Job Overview
The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team partners with businesses to help them succeed on their cloud journey. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design and implement AI-driven cloud solutions for strategic customers, guiding them through their digital transformation with GenAI and Agentic AI products.
This role involves working directly with customers, solving technical challenges, and ensuring a seamless transition to Google Cloud’s advanced suite of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective Big Data and GenAI solutions while solving complex customer challenges.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to Google’s strategic clients.
- Identify new product features and gaps, providing feedback to Product Managers and Engineers to improve Google Cloud solutions.
- Share expertise by delivering best practices, tutorials, blog articles, and technical presentations tailored to different stakeholders.
- Support customers in adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions successfully and on time.
- Troubleshoot, monitor performance, and ensure smooth delivery of customer projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in building data and AI solutions while working with technical customers.
- Strong background in designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting end-to-end project delivery.
- Fluency in English for effective client relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), data pipelines, data analytics, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in core Data ETL techniques.
- Expertise in leveraging LLMs to deploy multimodal solutions (Text, Image, Video, and Voice).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and related tools:
- Apache Beam
- Hadoop
- Spark
- Pig
- Hive
- MapReduce
- Flume
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including:
- Virtualization
- Hosted services
- Multi-tenant infrastructures
- Storage systems
- Content delivery networks
