Position Details

Key Focus Areas for Interns
- App Framework: Contribute to Atlan’s extensible app framework.
- Connector Development: Build high-performance integrations across the modern data stack.
- Metastore: Strengthen Atlan’s core metadata management system.
- Metadata Lakehouse: Build next-gen metadata systems using Apache Iceberg.
- Platform & Infrastructure: Work on reliability, observability, automation, and service scalability.
Required Skills & Traits
- AI-native mindset: Regular use of AI tools (coding, debugging, testing, learning).
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Go.
- Familiarity with cloud-native tools: Kubernetes, Helm, Argo, Temporal.
- Knowledge of Apache Iceberg, data lake/warehouse architectures, pipelines is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork abilities.
- Active GitHub contributions or project portfolio is highly valued.
Eligibility Criteria
- Current Bachelor’s degree students in Engineering (Computer Science / related fields).
- Must commit to one-week in-person onboarding (Jan 2026) and 6 months full-time remote internship.
- Minimum academic dedication and passion for the tech industry.
Program Details
- Onboarding Week: January 2026 (Delhi or Bangalore) – expenses covered.
- Mode: Remote (after onboarding).
- Duration: 6 months (paid, full-time).
