As a Hardware Associate Engineer (Campus Hire 2026), you will work on advanced semiconductor technologies, hardware acceleration, and platform solutions that enable breakthroughs in wireless, multimedia, and computing.


Key Job Responsibilities

As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm, you will:

  • Work on SoC and hard macro physical design, validation, and debug.
  • Contribute to RF, analog, mixed-signal, and power IC design.
  • Participate in digital ASIC design, design verification, and low-power design.
  • Support board and FPGA design, CPU design, and design-for-test (DFT) activities.
  • Develop CAD solutions for advanced semiconductor design and validation.
  • Perform detailed analysis, translate concepts into models, and contribute to both software and hardware acceleration for key subsystems.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-performance solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong foundation in one or more of the following areas:
    • SoC verification with embedded RISC/DSP processors or communications/networking ASICs.
    • RTL design and programming in Verilog or VHDL, with additional skills in C/C++, Tcl, Perl, or shell scripting.
    • Object-oriented programming knowledge.
    • Understanding of wireless/wired communication protocols or graphics/video/multimedia systems.
    • RF/Analog/Mixed Signal design knowledge in PLL, LNA, OpAmp, CMOS, ADC/DAC, with tools such as Cadence and SpectreRF.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication ability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
